Not sure the 2005-7 squad was particularly young. And we went from barely avoiding relegation in 06/07 to promotion the following season, so I don't think there's much historic evidence that you need to gradually creep up the table one season at a time.
Said many times that the gulf between the Premier league and the Championship is ever widening. FFP in the championship means loses of 39 million over 3 years are allowed, doesn't buy you a handful of championship standard players. Meanwhile last place in the Premier league gets you well over 100 million plus the parachute payments. I think anything other than the yoyo clubs getting promoted is unlikely.
It wasn't particularly young, no, but it wasn't under a transfer embargo nor was it playing in front of home crowds consistently less than 10k. Not excuses, but factors nevertheless. Building a squad takes a transfer window, building a team takes a few seasons.
A second to bottom championship club with no groundof their own and in need of maintenance In and a low fan base is not going to attract anyone and we need to accept that. Allamhouse have taken al, they can but based on generated income from gate receipts they are desperate to sell. I predict the same situation when they bought the club
Looks like City's accounts will be published by the weekend (first club to post them), so we'll find out if that debt's finally come down.
Per companies house, the 2020 accounts were uploaded on 8/10/2020, so we have published a week earlier than last year.
HT2's an old-fashioned cocktease! I don't know if he's itk or not, me, I'll wait for a bit of certainty, even if it takes 24 hours... No offence HT2
Probably limited in what he can say without losing his source or disclosing something that won't help the situation as it currently stands. Whether he's posting dressed in a short skirt and kitten heels is his own business...
