I think there's a couple of reasons for it. Fraser probably offers more defensive help to his full back than Celina would and if I was an opposition defender I would be more worried playing against Celina in the number 10 role than dealing with him out wide. Having Celina behind the striker puts more pressure on the other team in my opinion.
You’d expect that once Celina is up to speed he’ll be the most dangerous player in the 10 abs Fraser is a comfy left pegger. beat in mind the left wing position is for Edward’s too…
I said the same last match but I've changed my mind now. Celina is scarier for the oppo team and Fraser is doing his bit defending out wide, which leaves Celina more advanced where you really want him when the ball breaks.
You can see why Burns is a 60 minute player. He does a lot of high energy work from the first whistle. He chains runs together, gets up quickly and uses a lot of energy in a short space of time. I don't have a problem subbing him every week if he is this dangerous for an hour.
Think Celina is best running at people and cutting in, you get more space to run outside. Fraser is blatently a passer not a runner
A confident first 45, great to see the ball passed around and mostly forward. Celina growing into his game.
I'd keep Fraser in there. It's a good choice to have but I'm not sure I'd have Celina, Edwards and Burns in the same team, too many runners
Best 45 mins in a long, long time. Doncaster might be poor but weve literally annihilated them in every department. They’ve not had a sniff. If we don’t win this I’ll literally be in tears. re the team sheet, we’ve got to keep this pressing and burns and Fraser are doing it much better than Edward’s or Celina can. Morsy looks like one of those blokes that’s just always in the right place at the right time.
But Celina isn't running so much today. He's finding the holes and receiving the ball in dangerous areas, plus he has the ability to beat a man so it really makes for a great number 10
