When we’re doing the business in the PL in a few years time the question will be - aye but were you there against Cheltenham on the Tuesday night in the pissing down rain?
When we boarded the coach, at Cheltenham, there were lads in T-shirts looking at me like I was an Eskimo .... ... can't wait to see them get back on the coach after 3 hours in Sunderland
Good luck to them and absolutely no offence they seem like a well run club But never in a million years did I ever expect to be playing Cheltenham in a league match.
Nerves are kicking I n. Currently wandering around the metro centre!! (Wearing a mask obviously) wife needs interview clothes!!
Hopefully the weather doesn’t spoil the game too much. Got to be honest there’s something quite magical about a night game in the pouring rain. I hark back to Manchester City at home in 2010, a 1-1 draw in driving rain under the floodlights. Cracking game and atmosphere.
