I’m staying away again. Still coughing with this bastard COVID and don’t want to be sitting close to people potentially at a big risk from it. Will be watching the stream

My wonderful son has woken up full of cold and thus won't be football training tonight leaving me free to attend the game

27,000+ there tonight. I think that’s cracking for a Tuesday night against Cheltenham Town.

Am assuming Cheltenham won't bring many. 28/29k seems to be our hard core these days which is brilliant for 3rd tier but still disappoints me. I can't ever imagine a scenario where the division we are in stops me wanting to watch my team - am sure there are many other factors at play, so will belt up and just enjoy our fantastic support :emoticon-0100-smile

If it is that mate maybe we may see a line up something like this
    Hoff
    Winchester alves flannigan Huggins
    Evans. O9
    Dakie broahead Stewart mcgeady
    Could be ok

So far I've only been told who's on the bench.

It's great that we no longer have to risk players carrying knocks like Doyle and Cirkin.

Gooch is having a fitness test apparently but that's come from someone else.

BTW I, for one, am really pleased we have Hume coming back into the squad soon ...

... he's our player and it's time for a fresh start imo.

    Yeah I agree
It’s great we have a good squad
Unfortunately at this moment some will miss out on our match day
But will feature in cup games and hopefully push for a first team as others have done
I think there all good enough to mix and match
However we have to be very weary not to chop and change a team that is winning
Nevertheless we are in a much better place than we have been for a long time
    Onward and upwards

I’d like to see O’Brien back on the bench tonight.

Think it's a risk to make so many changes, but the quality we have in the squad should see us through

    Hoffmann
    Winchester Alves Flanagan Huggins
    Evans O'Nien
    Broadhead O'Brien McGeady
    Stewart
Subs: Burge, Doyle, Wright, Cirkin, Neil, Embleton, Dajaku, Pritchard

Not sure I'd risk Dajaku from the start yet, he looks very raw and maybe a few appearances from the bench would be better

After Johnson's comments about Alves yesterday, I wonder whether he might slot into midfield with Wright at the back?

    Unbelievable support.
I'm not one for the "our fans are better than you're fans" bollox. Every fan loves their club.
However its a joke how some in the press and other fans have a go at our support for petty things. Leaving early, being fickle, not filling the stadium blah blah blah.
We are in the third tier have been for over 3 years
    Averaging over 30k
Had 32k on Saturday and now 3 days later against Cheltenham on a miserable Tuesday night we are looking at a crowd of about 28k.(with virtually no away support)
    Ridiculous numbers.

Absolutely right. Most we play against get 50% of capacity and half of them are our fans!!

Isn't he on concussion protocol? If so, won't even be back in proper training till Friday

    Great article
Great article in The Times that I read on Twitter this morning about our support north of the border and a new Supporters Association set up there recently.
