Newton Abbot 1.00 Lightning Blue Could only manage mid-field finishes in a couple of handicaps at Uttoxeter when last seen in the summer but Samuel Drinkwater often does well with recruits from other yards. This race less demanding and stable amongst the winners recently. Tongue strap on and Jack Tudor an eyecatching booking in conditional races. Could run well for each way purposes. Yes obviously this can't be a confident selection but I like the challenge of finding the winner in very bad races like this In the 3.10 at Newton Abbot the lightly raced Hobbs runner Whatsthecraicjack could have more to offer with the mark 5lb down now. His reapperance 3rd at this track wasn't without promise. Slipped on the bend in his race last time out according to the jockey.
