J'Neil Bennett showing off in a warm up game for Crewe: That's one way to impress your new manager, I guess.
Troy Parrott wasn't in the squad for MK Dons 1-1 draw with Cheltselfharm due to a mild case of playing for Ireland Jamie Bowden played 90 minutes in Oldham's 3-0 loss to Barrow Kion Etete played 75 minutes in Northampton's 2-0 win over Scunthorpe
Cameron Carter Vickers played 90 minutes in Celtic's 3-0 win over Ross County, scoring the opening goal Troy Parrott played 90 minutes in MK Dons' 1-0 win over Portsmouth, picking up a booking J'Neil Bennett played 90 minutes in Crewe's 1-1 draw with Shrewsbury Jamie Bowden played 90 minutes in Oldham's 4-0 loss to Orient, picking up a booking Kion Etete played 60 minutes in Northampton's 1-0 loss to Forest Green
MOTM, apparently: That shot may have taken a little deflection... Great work from Parrott in the lead up to the goal and he could've had a couple on another day. Another outstanding game from Bazunu in goal for Portsmouth, where he's on loan from City. Played brilliantly for Ireland the other night against Serbia and he's still only 19.
Pape Matar Sarr played 90 minutes in Metzs 2-0 loss to Troyes, for some reason on the left wing Alfie Whiteman played 90 minutes in Degerfors' 4-1 loss to Kalmar
Kion Etete was an 85th minute sub in Northampton's 1-0 win over Newport County, yet somehow wound up playing for 18 minutes...
Alfie Whiteman played 90 minutes in Degerfors' 2-1 loss to Sirius Troy Parrott played 90 minutes in MK Dons' 4-1 win over Gillingham, scoring the third goal until that was declared an OG, so I'm counting that as an assist J'Neil Bennett played 90 minutes in Crewe's 2-0 win over Burton, scoring the second goal and was robbed when the first was declared an OG (which I'm also counting as an assist) Jamie Bowden was a 72nd minute sub in Oldham's 0-0 draw with Hartlepool Kion Etete played 64 minutes in Northampton's 1-1 draw with Swindon Two goals struck off in the same round of fixtures. J'Neil Bennett played 90 minutes in Crewe's 3-1 loss to Morcambe Jamie Bowden played 90 minutes in Oldham's 7-0 loss to Brentford Anyway, moving on...
Pape Matar Sarr played 90 minutes in Metz's 2-1 loss to PSG, which turned into a basketball match in stoppage time judging by all the handballs Alfie Whiteman played 90 minutes in Degerfors' 3-2 loss to Djurgarden
Sarr's been getting rave reviews for his performance against PSG, not least because he was one of the few Metz players to not lose their heads in the last few minutes Whiteman's loan is the most concerning given he's picking the ball out of the net at least twice a game, which even for a newly-promoted team doesn't bode well - and given their goal difference averages out at them losing every game 2-1 (the polar opposite of Malmo's, stat fans!) the best that can be said is he'll get plenty of practice at shot stopping
Troy Parrott played 90 minutes in MK Dons' 1-0 win over Wycombe, scoring the only goal from the spot J'Neil Bennett wasn't in the squad for Crewe's 1-1 draw with Rotherham Jamie Bowden was an unused sub in Oldham's 1-0 win over Rochdale Kion Etete was an 87th minute sub in Northampton's 2-2 draw with The Salford City Fairytale™
Won the penalty, scored the penalty. Questionable red card, though. Can't tell from those highlights, but it looks like the home side dominated: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/58606285 Puts them in a strong position in the league, too.
