Benefit of only going into office 1 day a week full tank lasts me about 3 or 4 weeks these days depending on what we do at weekends.
I will... When they make an affordable one, that isn't crap, that will meet my needs. Currently the only options are way too unreliable (Tesla), Crap/doesn't meet my needs (GM/Nissan) or too expensive (BMW/Mini/Rivan/Tesla).
Easy solution... go to the pub! One heavy night of drinking and then piss in your tank the next morning #rocketfuel
Yeah like that, cos e,on musk will be eventually revealed as the world's worst polluter due to his battery chemicals. If we turn every car electric withing 50 years the damage due to making those batteries will be massive.
i live the other side of a river to town and the bridge in has a petrol station either side . One of them is quite big and is attached to a Tescos the other side is pretty small and normal pretty quiet . The smaller one closed yesterday morning as it had been cleaned put and the Tescos one was out of diesel . On way back from walking dog this morning the bridge was partially blocked by people queuing to turn into the Tescos site so fully expect that to close in next day or two . Absolute ****ing Morons
Well its sunday and they all need fuel to get to work tomorrow. Maybe this is not just panic buying but just plain lack of supply writ large. After all we are all just 3 days from starvation too.
Ok so they could drive 20mils and find more places to go but equally if you are on 1/4 tank and have 5 days work its not quite so easy say well it'll be fine if your bosses don't take that as an excuse. how many looked like school runs, retirees and how mny looked like folks in commuter cars?
i was just driving past so no idea but nearly saw 2 accidents caused by the blockage it was causing . No way are these 2 garages selling that much fuel normally and it started the moment it was on the news that a small number of stations had closed so no it wasn't caused by local shortage though there is one now .
So, new James Bond replacement suggestions. I think Idris Elba is a good shout. He's actually skilled in martial arts which could be utilised.
I like Elba and years ago when he was first suggested I liked the idea... He was great in Luther... but every film he has been in has been poor. I don't know if he is cast badly, picks films badly, or just isn't a film actor. He's also reaching an age where he's probably a bit old to be starting to play Bond. .
You're right about his age but I think he's just on the right side of being too old to play the part. He's four years younger than Daniel Craig and this doesn't have to be a long term replacement, I'd say he could get at least three films in the role. Who's your pick?
I'm not very good with actors/actresses. (The partial face blindness doesn't help as I have a hard time picking actors out and knowing what else they've been in, unless they keep the same haircut in multiple roles... )... One actor who I've seen mentioned for Bond though, James Norton, I think could definitely pull off the role.
