Close thing at both ends there. Have to say it has been an exciting second half.

Well we got out of jail there, much better in second half. Very entertaining if stressful.
Tx for your company all again.

    Sadly was right.

Would have been a bit of day light robbery .

    Foster kept us in it.

Pedro and Tufan made a difference though.

Really surprising as up here everyone considered they had a good squad and a good manager....

Maybe their style of play is the issue? - too much attacking and not enough focus on the defence.

Guess we will see next week!

Bet they aren't asking for players to be "put down" though or writing personal insults to the manager as they are elsewhere about ours.

Now it's Foster out - Bachmann in because Ben apparently made a error for the goal despite also making a few good saves.

Unfortunately today probably showed what we are in reality - an average squad for the Premier league with some flashes of inspiration but will often be outplayed.

Yes Sierralta's situation is a bit odd but all managers fall out with players or don't fancy them.

Maybe he had a bad reaction to the own goal v Wolves?

Well he is the next great hope but probably be "useless" in a few weeks when he hasn't scored 5 goals in 5 games..

Mate says 3 of our players were offside - not sure what took so long to rule it out then.

Newcastles tactics were the opposite of their talent

Over physical (Bruce) Time wasting from the moment they scored (Bruce) the goalie could, should have received at least two yellow cards for time wasting before half time but worst of all going down and squealing like stuck pigs every time we won a tackle (Bruce again)

The assault on Cleverly by the goalie in the first half could easily have been a penalty and at least a yellow but they got a free kick

Worst referee I have seen for a long, long, long time

But we are still 11th so not too bad

Foster got the best ratings for our players. I was hoping for a win, but given the first-half performance, it was a good point in the end.

I guess it's the life of a keeper - they can make some great saves but if they make one small error (hardly a blooper) it gets highlighted.

Bit like Bachmann - did he do a lot wrong?

We are Watford - not many of our players will be perfect every game.

Like you say he was MOTM for a reason - the 10 outfield players didn't perform - certainly for 60 minutes.

The incident that seeing the game in their favour. Shocking lack of application of the law allowed them to kick Sarr around all afternoon. YC all day long, any pitch, any level. Simply not good enough.

I said to the guy next to me that the ref was so NOT in control that it could have been ugly. He did not protect Sarr at all yet when Clevs went for a 50/50 with Darlow and got clattered the keeper got the free kick when it was him that collided with Clevs not the other way around. AND don’t get me started on their squealing as soon as they were touched. At one point - I think it was longstaff went down, I thought he was going to get back up with one leg hanging off
I have no doubt that the instruction to rough up Sarr was Bruces’ - horrible man, very poor manager

I seriously think that our ref should be withdrawn from the EPL list. Yes they have to start somewhere and get experience, but with this type of performance a player will get badly injured.

That was his first Premier league game .

Obviously hadn’t got the memo about more to go - very fussy and card happy.

Then hardly punished any time wasting .
