The ones with contracts expiring i would take what i could get on the basis they are worth nowt end of the season. The Cabaye, Ba and Tiotes may be over priced but thats what i would want to let them go, more than they are worth.

 

Well MY opinion as an NUFC fan is MY opinion, as are all our opinions here, so taking note of what the OP said doesn't make us "embarrassments".

You can think the values are wrong by all means, but your reasoning is flawed because that wasn't the point of the article. Stating that Cabaye was bought for £4mill and has added £16 mill to his value completely ignores the fact that we aren't talking about how much teams will currently pay, and completely ignores that we could have received bargains at exceptional value for money (i.e. the only reason we got Cabaye so cheap for £4.5mill was due to a £4.5mill release clause).

If you have other reasons then fair enough, but those reasons alone do not mean that we're embarrassing ourselves with some of these valuations.

 

Agreed Harper is probably worth less, but Santon is 20 years old and already has 7 caps for Italy, one of the best prospects in Italy and Krul is the same in Holland so don't see why not

 

Whats are team worth?, if Dalgleish is buying you can triple the values.
