I support the club through doing what I believe is right. Take a look at the pricing of 'membership' these days. Do you think if we had a full ground, these prices would be so low, or do you think they'd be higher? They now know what their lies and actions have done. You've made your bed, you'd better 'lie' in it
Like ****ing rag week on this thread Bet the same circular argument has been discussed a thousand times It’s boring
It's for ****ing good reason though isn't Chazz. I find this argument incredibly boring too by the way.
Here's a question then Kempton. What do you think the membership prices would be if we had full houses? Personally speaking,I think they'd be the same. And yes, this thread has descended into **** again.(most do nowadays).
The price has little to do with the attendance, people spend money to go see a winning team. Sad but true. FACT
I've responded to Kemptons post regarding prices and was curious as to what he thought of his own question? Totally agree, people do spend money to see a winning team but they'd also pay to see a losing Premier League Club?
There is a thing called what the market will stand. If a team was selling out its stadium of 50,000 at 50quid a ticket would they be wise to reduce the price if the attendance dropped by 20,000 and if so to what lower price? It's unlikely the missing fans would come back and now you're getting less from those who would come whatever the price. It's a conundrum alright.
Except our crowds didn't drop when we were relegated or started losing. They droped when all the bullshit started. We used to get 20k in Division 3.
See my reply to Ric Just as some won't come if you make it cheaper to see a crap team, on the other hand loyal customers will turn up now matter how much you fleece/charge them.
They'd be double what they are now. They only lowered the price to what it is now to try win fans back. Like I said though, you made your bed...
So £60 a month then? £40 for 65+? That would hit hard at those borderline fans who have swithered whether to go or not to go and would put a lot of people off? It would also make us possibly the most expensive Club in the Championship to follow(from memory I don't recall any Club paying more but maybe there are one of two? Incidentally, how much have they lowered it by to win fans back?
This is very true. And when we judge the allams even the most anti, must accept we were down and out and they saved us. Shame the bollocks that followed, especially with junior
All that "bollocks" was the councils fault though. Now the fickle fans fault. The Allams have been exemplary
