We get run off the ball in 50/50s far too often
Actually think Rupp is having a good game, he’s done some good defensive work and made some vital interceptions.
Omobamidele look like our best CB!
Idah and Tzolis need to put their shooting boots on

A real shame as City deserve to be level, following a dodgy start.

It’s one of them, looks good if it goes in, terrible if it’s saved. Good play in the build up.
Tzolis has been lively and probably our best attacking threat.

A shame, but no-one can claim the players haven’t got heart or aren’t playing for the manager.

I think Lees-Melou and Giannoulis are asking the question why they’ve been dropped from the first XI.

    Gunn hasn’t done much special.

Agree about Omobamidele looking very sharp.

Despite the penalty Tzolis has looked energetic.

Ultimately we’ve been undone on a set piece due to zonal marking leaving a player completely unmarked on the second ball.

Something to cheer but still conceding soft goals and fluffing chances

Kind of a fun first half. We look like we might get something - then don't. Only one goal behind. Giannoulis looking good.

No more soft underbelly Farke is putting in the dynamic trio of centre backs .

Should Gilmour have followed Minimino or should Hanley have picked him up?

Agree with that and we should be level, but luck deserts us again. I'm still not sur about Gilmour, but everybody else seems to be working their socks off and there's a buzz when we get the ball up to Tzolis.

    Zonal marking is the problem.
    You mark zones not players.
    Makes no sense to me

If we get a corner we usually **** it up and start running backwards with all our centre backs watching from their attacking positions

Dumb question, I know, but I'm not good at all with the tactical stuff. What are the arguments FOR zonal marking?
