I would happily carry on experimenting and trying to play positive football and finish mid table (perhaps that’s optimistic right now anyway <laugh>) rather than play defensive and try and nick 1-0 wins. See if somehow we can get these players to get close to the sum of their parts.
I was really hoping we would get Potter as our manager and it just shows that like liverpool did with Klopp, if you can see what they are trying to do you keep being patient. At the moment no one can see what Nuno is trying to do and unless something changes soon, as RCL says, I can only see one outcome.

Woah woah woah. There's no way we're letting the "better us winning it than money bags city" comment pass without incident.

Of all the teams capable of winning it, my preference by a mile is Liverpool. They are the only team who haven't literally cheated to achieve success in recent years.

Awful second half, we came out with zero urgency, stood off and waited for Cheaterski to score, from which point it was a cake walk for them. I had zero expectations for this season with the squad we have been left with, so no surprises really, they have a far stronger squad than us and can replace like with like, we replace with young and inexperienced, Nuno made the 2 subs and Chelsea just took complete control. Chelsea will end up battling with City for the title, with Varpool and Penited 3rd and 4th, and Spurs will be left with another underwhelming season under the misery of ENIC.

The options Chelsea have compared with us is on another level, it is what it is under these owners sadly. Hopefully one day soon we will all wake up and the club will have been sold, and we can all jump for joy.

we’ve all had enough of the defensive football where we try to nick 1-0 wins! Been there, done that with mourinho.

nuno has an impossible job. The fan base was very unhappy before he took charge. He was clearly well down the pecking order, and he could end up being out of his depth. Only time will tell.

We desperately need to bounce back against Arsenal with a first half performance like today for 90 mins. We won’t play many harder games this season that we did today, so need to be brave again and go for it with the same (or damn similar) personnel we started with today.

Nuno is looking a lot like Mourinho, but without the CV.
The strength in your squad is in attack. As much as modern day managers don't like to admit it, defence is not everything.
If your best chance of winning games is to commit players forward, but risk conceding, then so be it.
    Risks have to be taken.

****ing pile of **** but no less than I expected to be honest. **** players and a manager who’s a B-tech Jose without the ego or history.

Only good thing about today was seeing all the legends before the game and at HT.

Paul Coyte got a massive cheer as well as he conducted the interviews with some of them about Greaves. Hopefully the knobheads in charge of the decision making to get rid of Coyte will have noticed how much he’s appreciated here and give him his job back.

There's one thing worth mentioning here: people have decided that Gil is a gamechanger off the bench, but based on what?

While I am loathe to classify him alongside Ndombele, where he's seen as a gamechanger because he masks his lack of end product with a load of stepovers and flicks (see also: current Lunatic Fringe fixation Adama Traore) the fact we're already elevating him into a position where he's supposed to be influencing games the second he sets foot on the pitch based on a handful of games underlines an issue, namely how arbitrarily people are deemed to be players who can change games

Similar can be said for Lucas, who has a reputation essentially based on the Ajax second leg, when the reality is that he's a pretty streaky player in regards to end product

    We all make mistakes

The question is how people learn from them

I’m the same, the last few years have been crap and I don’t have any faith in the people in charge that good times are on their way back anytime soon.

The signings from the last 3-4 years have been absolutely dreadful and you have to wonder who is scouting these players.

‘My affection for the club has never been a secret,’ Greaves said in 1995, while reminiscing about his time on the Fulham Road. ‘It’s probably the greatest name in the world: Chelsea. You think about it. What does it conjure up? It conjures up the best part of the biggest city in the world. Chelsea! It’s magical. And they’ve never lived up to it, but I hope they do. I’m a great Chelsea fan, as you probably know. And I’d love to see it all happen.’

This ain't a bitch or negativity...I ain't angry or bitter or slagging anyone off...it's just my view as a fan.

I love football as an escape.

I don't give a toss about winning, losing or drawing...I just wanna look forward to our games and watch them on TV and want to want to go to the lane when I can afford it.

But for the past 18 -24 months we have been almost unwatchable. I rarely watch us on TV and tbh have no wish to pay money to watch us barely get out of our own half.

We are boring...bad is one thing but boring is unforgivable for me.

We have average 9 attempts per game for 2 years....9 ffs.

I can live with no trophies but I can not live with being bored.

It's like watching a weird, non aggressive hybrid of the Stoke Burnley, Bolton and Blackburn teams of the past 20 years.

No non spurs fan would chose to watch us.

This is not spurs...it is not football...

And it saddens me that this is how far we've fallen...I have followed spurs from 1974 as a 7 Yr old... and the only time I remember us being truly boring week in week out was under bloke in a coat 20 yrs ago.

Something needs to change or that beautiful ground will remain beautiful but will be filled with a very ugly atmosphere...and a lot of empty seats.

As I said a few days ago, the biggest issue is that we expect us to play like we did between 2015-17, but the reality is that teams sussed that out in 2018 yet we persisted with that style of play and wound up going into a spiral as a result

Look at any match thread between the 2015-16 season and 2017-18 season and you regularly saw people concerned that if we came up against a team sitting back we regularly ran the risk of running into a brick wall for ninety minutes, and that's something which routinely came to pass against sides such as Burnley, West Brom, Stoke etc etc etc - but it has to be said that, come the 2018-19 season, we saw more and more teams put pressure on us in specific parts of the pitch, for example I remember Arsenal and West Ham specifically pressing us high on the right flank when Trippier was starting games and also remember Dembele getting squeezed out of the FA Cup semi against Man Utd when his decline was there for all to see, so the reality of the situation was we needed to adapt our squad to be press resistant so that if we couldn't seize control of a midfield by retaining possession instead we'd seize a midfield by force

And that's where our decline started, because in the summer of 2019 we signed players who would have gone into our team in 2017, when more and more teams were not playing against us like they did in 2017 so what we needed was a press resistant midfield but instead brought in players assuming we'd be in full flow against teams sitting back even though, by that point, we'd already spent half a season playing tactics similar to what Nuno is trying to implement yet tried implementing them at the start of the 2019-20 season with a midfield three of Ndombele, Sissoko and Winks which...yeah, anyone think that was going to work?

Not sure Jennings does as many ambassadorial duties as the others, could be wrong though.
I’d like to think there’s nothing to worry about.
