We’re top of the league and only dropped 2 two points for 15. As Mito said, even that goal that Chelsea scored was a lucky flick on so we’re in good shape without even hitting top form…..so all is good so far!
to be fair, who thought that Elliott would grab a midfield a slot like he did? Klopp did. I didn’t, you didn’t, nobody else knew. So he was our new midfielder really. Can’t blame Klopp for him getting injured, surely?

By all means book the player in white for preventing the taking of the free and being a complete **** but..............that player in red knows exactly what he's doing and the guy in white is clearly in his line of vision. It's horrible.
Theres a reason milner drove it into him. You cant lose. Wind the guy up minimum. Get to complain to ref and get in his head too. Milner was at it all day. It was nearly the most entertaining part of the whole game. It was a really poor reffing performance. Even the linos were at it. Plenty of flag waving down on the main stand side but salah was being mugged and nothing but an offside flag when he resists 3 separate fouls dragging out of him and plays it. It's just 80s stuff. I get that about Elliott, but with our elderly or regularly injured midfielders it was criminal not to replace Gini.
Tough game today but this just showed how important Trent is to this team from an attacking sense. No way Palace are that agressive with Trent on the field. Special mention to Tsimikas. He has one hell of a cross on him. 3 points and we move on. Be relentless and wear down the league like the last time
