What is defined as a “Covid19” death North of the Border? Man has positive plague test on 31st August, gets hit by a bus on 2nd September so it must be Covid19. No chance of him getting hit by an NHS Scotland ambulance as he would need to stand in the road for 24 hours after someone called for it.

This numpty probably knows nothing about the inaccuracy of Case Fatality Ratios but it sounded good. Given that the fully vaccinated outnumber the unvaccinated, a reasonable person might conclude that numbers of them dying of anything should be greater. The next person dying of falling in the shower is much more likely to be fully vaccinated, although if that person stupidly slipped on the soap they would most likely be a no-vaxxer.

 

For some reason they seem to think that Tub's wonder drug isn't as good as the EU one.

To me it seems you know how absurd the whole charade is yet you continue to follow "The Science".

If the Govt were in charge (they're not) then they could drop every single restriction right now, and we'd see no discernable increase in CV19 cases or deaths.

Instead, they are paying £100m a week for a testing system that is useless, £50m a week on track and trace which is beyond useless, they are pursuing a vax policy which makes no sense, they WILL introduce a vax passport, it's introduction making no sense, then they'll vilify the unvaxxed as the vectors of the continuing cases/deaths despite no evidence that the vax stops transmission, makes you less likely to transmit or stops you dying despite what they tell us.

 

Boris only does three word slogans. The “Get Brexit Done” one worked for him as it was easily understood outside the M25 and the Westminster Bubble. The “levelling up” thing is just political hogwash and a word short of a three word slogan. He presides over the most Socialist Conservative administration ever to be in office with money no object in pursuit of Red Wall seats even if True Blue seats are neglected and ultimately lost.

The reshuffle was a strange event because a couple of people got the chop as long anticipated but Boris has created a contradiction by keeping one of his rivals, Liz Truss, close by making her Foreign Secretary (all that jetting around the world as Trade Secretary means she will at least know where places are on the map) whilst at the same time shoving another, Michael Gove, further away to see if he can actually make anything work at Housing, something that the Tories have bungled for most of the last decade.
