no one dismissed them but like it or not we would lose some of our best players during this period i asked the question would it influence you

    personally i'd take Sow

edit: due to misinterpretation thought you were being asrey (soz)

Personally I'd like us to bring in a strong, tall, Geordie born and bred striker who moved away from the Newcastle area earlier in the year. I think for the right money we could bring this young, English attacker home, give him the number 9 shirt and build our team around him...

From what I've heard any of these players would be a good addition.

Not a bad little list :)

    Modibo Maiga 163 aps 42 gls (1 in 3.8)

    Papa Cisse 228 aps 115 gls (1 in 1.9)

    Moussa Sow 166 aps 49 gls (1 in 2.3)

    Luuk de Jong 67 aps 23 gls (1 in 2.9) *

Yeah, it's likely that better teams would be in for him.

    Never say never though.

I wasn't really saying we'd never have a chance, it was just more to do with the terrible pun.

Oh yeah.. Salomon Rondon would be immense too! Big, strong, young, skillful and quite quick for a big lad too.
