It'll work or it won't. I doubt they'll invest tens of millions required to get us close to the premier league and then recruit/ keep a manager based purely on their nationality. If a few Turkish prospects get an opportunity and fly high here over the next few years, why would that be inherently bad? They're buying an English club. They could be buying a Turkish club if they wanted one. Of course the media guy isn't putting all the money in. He's fronting the deal but City won't be his whim - he'll have backers to keep happy. And once a deal is done, the EFL will have to ratify the backers.
Depends what you believe. Burke didn’t want to stay. He wasn’t any better than what we currently have. Absence does strange things to peoples perceptions of a player.
