We were a Dickie mistake away from a draw. We gave them one hell of a game in the second half. Fantastic game of championship football - we showed we deserve to be up there with the ‘favourites’ for promotion. Our toughest game so far and we almost got a positive result.

We should have had a point.. after a really awful first half. Their goalie was magnificent...but they were nasty team. Neutralised us with fouls and niggles. In the end well played Rangers. Need to cut out those defense errors right now... We have shown we can't always come back

Stroud is a poor referee, but he's not the reason we lost imo. We weren't clinical enough in those last 20 minutes or so. Austin would have put Ball's ****ed up header away with eyes closed and Grey's late header too. Their keeper was also inspired.
Great performance again from Stoud. My favourite was after 91 minutes. He blows up to give us a free kick when we have possession and then spends 58 seconds talking to players. The foul on Barbet was a straight red and Stroud has introduced a new rule: a player is allowed to deliberately foul the opposition players 3 times before getting a yellow.
More or less same formation all game wasnt it? 3 at the back, 2 wing backs. Albert got forward more than Kakay, but Johansen dropped deeper more after the 2 subs.
Aside from the copious amounts of fouling we had to cope with, we rushed too much when we got a goal back. We had 30 mins left but kept giving the ball away with aimless long balls and misplaced passes.
I would be ashamed as a player to throw the ball over the advertising hoardings. How ****ing cowardly is that. Horrible, niggly and fouling team. They should have walked this game at 2-0 up. Credit to our boys to come back in the second half. Deserved a draw. Our defensive line need to have a little chat about what they need to do to be more effective. Much better when ‘Uncle’ came on; Gray didn’t give much, especially considering how we were pushing forward. Willock did well, considering he was a target by most of their team. Their keeper and Zemura were very good tbf.
I think we were trying to release Grey with his pace, but you're right, we played far too many long balls for a while.
Oh well, had to happen sometime and the spirit still seems robust. Bounce back on Saturday against them robins.
