Aye, and the lad himself. He can’t be happy not getting a sniff.

As we saw with Dion Sanderson last year - it's a long old season and opportunities will present themselves. There is no argument for dropping Doyle or Flandini right now, so the others have to wait for a chance and take it. It's a very healthy position to be in

I expect it will be Bailey Wright, with Alves on the bench, its the LJ way, but I too would like to see Younger get a sniff, he has never let us down when given a chance, and Alves looked non too clever in his first appearance, but we will see.

I think there is a cup game next Tuesday... for those not in the starting 11?

Whoever takes Flanagan's place I'd like to see Dajaku and/or O'Brien on the bench on Sat. Thought the bench at the weekend was needlessly defensive with 3 defenders and a defensive midfielder taking up 4 of the 6 outfield slots

So Flandini will walk back into the team after his suspension?

But Wright is back up? Would you agree with Flanagan to walk back into the team once he's served his suspension? He's my most improved player this season, on the team sheet after Neil.

I think we have to leave team selection to LJ , he knows the players and what is needed . I am sure LJ will know what Fleetwood attack is like , I have to be honest I have no idea but I am sure the club will have had them watched and will therefore have a game plan in mind . I trust the manager to make the right decision , he hasn’t done bad up to now and will want to stay top of the league .

At the moment Flanagan and Doyle are undroppable imo.

I don't think Wright is as bad as he's looked at times having had to play with a variety of defenders.

It's a Flanagan is suspended but, with all due respect, I'd rather it was Fleetwood than some other games he's missing.

Maybe he’ll give Doyle a rest n’all and play Weight and Alves for this game, if he has been getting those two to build a partnership in training

You'd assume so unless something extraordinary happens on Sat

Thought Accrington were one of the worst sides we’ve played too personally. Yet a lot think they played well. I thought the manipulated the ref to the extreme and he bought every one if these. The yellow for their lad for the foul on half way was an awful challenge. Potential leg breaker. Yet that gets an identical punishment as our player running past their keeper and the keeper taking a dive. Absolutely awful. Reminded me of olden days Wimbledon!

Fleetwood have scored 9 and conceded the same in six games
They found their shooting boots last weekend scoring 4 so will be well up for next weekend.
With that in mind I can't see beyond Wright to replace Flanno, but as others have said trust in LJ to get it right.

They were rapidly heading towards Wycombe levels of twatness imo. The amount of rolling about was ridiculous

Although I agree we are winning. Difficult for LJ to change at the minute.

Maybe, just maybe he will move O/9 into the back 4, and play Evans in mid field, this would leave the option of closing the game down, one of his go to mechanisms if we are defending a lead. He is looked upon as a revolutionary by some, but I think he is quite predictable, and like most managers leans to the conservative, no bad thing even to a diehard Corbynista like me.

And O'Brien is a handy defender at corners etc, if were pushed back in the last 10 minutes.

Personally don’t want to see onien in the back 4 ever again, we’ve enough defenders to cope there

Me neither, but it is an option that had not been suggested, and as a temp. one game measure, it has its appeal by getting Evans into the set up, as we might also have to play on without O/9 if his shoulder gives way. Personally I want Winchester to stay at right back and not use him in midfield as many want, but for single games these alternatives may be the way to cover positions and keep our best players on the field.
