Sure they'd mentioned it was something to do with their warehouse which made no sense. Shop could be upgraded too. Mind they've ran out of home shirts to sell so there is that too. I'll be ready to spend once it reopens though

They have got planning permission to change black cat house into a club shop. - Donald and co put that application in. I think they were looking at changing the current club shop into a bar.

Would be welcomed. Shops isolated on side of ground it is. I know they looked at empty car dealership too. That would really be great addition. Mind the mobile one would be good in the meantime.

They were on about the old Audi garage for a fanzone type of thing, so there was some cover from the bad weather. And toilets, hopefully they get some toilets in the outdoor fanzone if they have any this season.

Would cosy a fortune but could use that scrap yard building for that. Could extend it easily too. Audi building would be class club shop imo

The scrapyard site is massive, I'm sure the council have their eyes on that for the sheepfolds redevelopment. I did notice a few lads with surveying equipment set up on that corner next to ALS cafe when I was down on Friday. They had the tripod thingys set up.

Council just seem to want to put housing on everything. Hopefully SAFC can obtain some of the land for club use.

Think the council needs to help if it can to get investment. The original idea of a sporting village around the ground would be great. Make it a destination and it'll make money all year around.

There was an indoor ski slope muted at one point. The contacts that the new people at SAFC will have in that arena will be off the scale, council would be daft not to speak them but then again, you never can tell.

Yeah, that's going to be developed. The scrap yard is going to be a construction academy, training people who want to go into construction trades. Most of the Sheepfolds is going to be housing and I think some offices and leisure developments as well. The club is supposed to be working with the council on it. Thank god Donald's gone or he'd have flogged the stadium!

Agree with you on the shop, I never understood a shop not having a fitting room so you could actually try a piece of clothing on.

It might have changed recently, but I've used the changing/fitting room in the S.A.F.C. shop (for my son) a couple of times (it was a few years ago, mind) :emoticon-0112-wonde

Same here, they did have a couple of changing rooms in the back right corner.

So far all plans for housing estate which won't be nice to live in on matchday. It's also very windy there at best of times. Athletics, boxing, etc even an arena should all be housed there. Could be fantastic area but would cost. Having said that we know owners and their contacts have cash. Would he great way to get around ffp too.
Think there was one in the corner op the 2nd counter. I remember the Jackie whites safc shop. That basically was a fitting room. All yiu could do is get in turn around an leave it was so small.

That sounds like a £200 day out to me tbh, and we won't see anything like that until we're PL imo.

Having put the foundations in and starting his ownership well I am wondering what everybody thinks the expectations are for the near future and further down the line. Also will there be changes if and when we move through the leagues. For example will KLD and his family/contacts be able to attract a better investment or sponsorship for the club, do you believe that the vision for the club in the long term is just to get promotion to championship and possibly back to Premier league or do you think the ambitions may even go beyond that ????
