So I've always been anti smoking for various reasons, yes I'd smoke a joint when I was younger but never really got into it. So recently found out the oldest 2 use these silly looking vape things. Is there any harm in it, is it going to be like cigarettes where the health risks only become apparent in the future? Thoughts/fahktz?
They're already discovering all sorts of health problems associated with vaping, so yes, they probably will face health problems later as a result. I don't think "second hand vape" is nearly as bad though... Nor is it as awful to smell for non-vapers.
They're undoubtedly far better than smoking cigarettes but I wouldn't be surprised if more comes out about long term effects of them down the line. I think some still contain a few carcinogens too but I might be wrong on that. I stopped smoking in January bar a relapse the day of the Germany match. Best thing I ever did and never bothered with the vape. As while it's better for you you're not really beating the addiction.
There’s far worse things they could be taking at that age tbh. If they’re using nicotine liquid they’re possibly creating an addiction though.
I was a smoker and can't stand vaping or people that vape, they need to turn the fooking things down. In regards to your 2, best left be mate, I was smoking from some unimaginable age and drinking in pubs at 15, I'm still alive. I just let my kids do what they want, there's enough government legislation without parents getting involved.
Supposedly it’s cool. When I see kids carrying around vapes, I snigger to myself as they look like muppets
Luvs complains his kids are ghey. Sure that's illegal now init.? Anyways unless they can do vape tricks i wouldnt worry @luvgonzo
So in other words, if you do nothing now, your kids will turn into @brb when they're older. Is that what you want?
My kids are all grown up and got kids of their own mate, so I must have done something right. I come from a big family, cops always at the door, so I only had one rule, no cops at the door. Drinking and smoking was their business I never got involved, I think we make such a big thing of it in this country it makes it attractive, let them be and their sort themselves out. Bit like cannabis, what's the point in the law, you can probably get it on most British streets. I don't do nanny state very well I'm afraid.
I offer my kids alcohol all the time and they always turn me down. They're all too by-the-book about everything. Not sure what went wrong with them.
My point precisely though, if you tell kids that something is banned they want it. If you offer it, nah you're alright dad.
So you're saying I should pick up some meth on my way home and offer it to my kids? I might try that.
Oh look at my new VenoM Xbomb Killshot 5 with Raging BEAST Fire liquid... bro you’re sucking candy floss flavour vegetable oil out of a flashing plastic cock.
