Sheffield Star- Regan Slater’s move broke down from City’s end after the club tried to renegotiate the terms of the proposed deal.
We was hoping to get him cheaper so we could finance the Pete Spudwhistle deal from the Dog And Duck.
Not the first time Ehab has tried his ‘shrewd’ renegotiation tactic for it to bite him in the arse. I wonder how Peter Grieve is doing these days?
Wonder what Terry thought of that seeing he was one of his main targets. Whether we needed Slater or not, ****ing enob up to his usual tricks.......****.
Given what OLM has just posted appears there are no other offers ... so I say again .. skullduggery on behalf of our master mind owner
Regan's dad not really holding back on Twitter, seems he'd turned down 3 offers on bigger money cos he wanted to play for McCann, until junior ****ed it right up again. What a useless **** he is.
whilst they may think they're top class negotiators they come across as a pair of dodgy used car salesmen - its happened time and time again where they tried it on and were told to **** off - Grieve with the SMC, Long trying to get cash deal changed to instalments, registration papers being sent to wrong number seconds too late and no doubt others I've forgotten about - I'm surprised anyone wants to deal with them
Frigging sure enob thinks he's a shrewd negotiator like Levy at Spurs, instead he's turned out to be like ****ing Peter Levy.
Actually he could prove to be very shrewd, it appears Pete Spudwhistle failed his medical at Fakenham due to only having one shin according to the bar lady at the Dog and Duck in spalding, this could mean while his tough negociating on the £118.37p fee the Dog and Duck were holding out for it now seems we could get Spudwhistle to sign a pre-contract agreement in January and get him for free next summer.
Of course that's only what the Sheffield Star says but I don't suppose many of us will find it hard to believe. Not like we have previous on this... Was obvious from what GM said towards the end of last season that he really liked the lad, and while I know some think he was no better than what we have, personally I thought in that 14 match unbeaten run he was the most complete of the 3 who played CDM last season.
Yeah - he was key to that final run in. We do have Smith and Huddlestone now though, which we didn't last season. Still, it's really not on dicking the lad about.
This Deadline day is so busy i ain't stopped i am hoping for a bit of info to arrive soon about my uber eats delivery i will keep you updated.
