Definitely too many forwards. There’s no point whatsoever Kayden Jackson being at the club and not convinced by Barry, Piggott, Aluko or Chaplin. But Celina is a fantastic signing and maybe we’ll send some out on loan or terminate loans early. None of those have done much wrong but I don’t think we need all of them.

Definitely agree re: Jackson, gotta be shipped out. Barry and Aluko will only be back up if we get injuries and suspensions. As for Chaplin and Piggott, they'll both definitrly be part of the matchday squad, and are excellent signings. Chaplin on his day will rip up this division if getting a good run of games

Of all the signings made, Barry is the 1 I don’t understand. I thought the loan market was used for 2 reasons - parent club gets minutes into their player and the loaning club improves the 1st team. With Celina coming in, with Edwards, burns already in the team (+ Chaplin & Fraser for the number 10 position) not sure when Barry is ever going to play

For us it’s probably a case of throw mud and see what sticks. For them it was probably a case of us bullshitting them that he would be a regular starter.

The question is, after the January window, will Col u be able to field a team of entirely ex blues players

Not from me. Morsy is a quality signing. Experienced, defensively solid, proven captain, and adds much needed steel in central midfield. What a signing!

All very good. is the squad too big? I’m not sure; we’re already seeing injuries and it’s nice seeing a good front 3 even with Bonne and Chaplin out. Burns is carrying a Achilles problem, Celina is way out of match fitness, edmundson hast played …so I think we need the depth?

surely some players (Nsiala, Nolan, Jackson and kenlock springs to mind) we’re kept as there was no certainty we’d get the players in but theyre not needed if everyone else is fit now? Dobra and mizouni the same. Neither are good enough to propel a team to a L1 title and we’ve simply got better backups now.

aluko looks poor, Barry ain’t gonna haul us upwards he’s icing on the cake stuff when everything else is going swimmingly, which it aint yet.

great midfielder to get in and a gk who must be better than hladky…he’s done well at a higher level.

I’m fascinated about how the midfield will line up with carrol seemingly here to play football, Harper looking good, and a big buy now in to anchor the midfield…Drop his captain? Big call…

For the first time in many years we’ve set our stall out for the players we’re after and have, on the whole, ended up getting them. What a difference to have serious operators in charge rather than half assed idiots with no idea what they’re doing.

Three fantastic signings in the last few days. On paper we must now be the strongest side in the league.

    What a transfer window!

We now have a talented squad that will be a force soon enough. I'm not worried about players staying happy if they're not playing, I'm sure it's all explained to them before they decide to sign.

We've brought in a few players from higher up the pyramid and all have said they don't want to be in League One for long so I hope we now have a squad that has a real drive and determination to get us promoted as soon as possible.

Well done to Mark Ashton and everyone involved for giving us what is probably our busiest transfer window ever <applause>

Fantastic transfer window. Decent signings and all at a good age so have potential moving forward. Mark Ashton definitely deserves a glass of something having convinced along with others, these players to come to us. The signing of Morsy is definitely an added bonus and will us some steel in the centre of the park. Will he be named captain or will that stay as Evans (doesn’t matter that much as some players are born leaders). I think he is waiting for an appeal to see if his 3 match suspension will be overturned but when he is ready to play, does he replace Evans or Harper? My gut feeling says it will be Harper missing out to start with but exciting times ahead

In all my 60 yrs of following Town, I have never drooled at seeing such a promising squad. Cant wait to see Celina fit and tearing it up down the wing.

Only a matter of time before getting results on the pitch.
