Ripon 2.00 Tinkerstar Has earned minor money in 7 from 9 runs this year and not beaten far in 2 handicaps on turf this summer. Last time out on the AW better than finishing position may suggest: "2 lengths ahead when nudged along home turn, "headed over 1f out, weakened quickly inside final furlong" On a career-low mark and stable's last 3 runners were placed at long odds. Hexham 5.15 ACDC This horse reached a rating of 134 in his peak a few years ago and is down to a career-low mark of 100 for a 2nd time. Was a good 2nd of this mark 2 runs ago at Newcastle (2 m 1 f, jumping well). Didn't see the trip out at Perth last time out (2m 4 f, weakened 2 out) but best runs have been at left handed tracks and was returning from a break that day. ACDC has won at Hexham in the past and trainer Chris Grant's last runner was a 28/1 winner at Sedgefield recently. Down in trip to 1 m 7 f an interesting move. Sean Quinlan always a positive jockey booking especially at northern tracks.

i’ve done a little flyer on the sherwood outsider in 600pm race , stable likes to ready them after a break , has the ability , and none of the others are bomb proof / win machines , got 14s but it still is 10s , his last runner won very well , admittedly an unexposed one , but indicates stable health .....good luck if you follow Manning Estate
