Pleased we are not sending Joe Walsh out on loan. With Seny off to the Africa Nations in deep mid winter we will need a back up plan in case Archer gets injured. I do of course hope that this is the reason and Seny isn’t being pursued by the likes of Sheffield Utd

I guess they see Field as first choice here and Ball as adequate back up

I haven't seen enough of Field to judge him. Ball has done well enough in some aspects, but there does seem to be a structural problem which we've seen particularly in first halves. Coventry's fast men were cutting through us like a hot knife through butter

    Whaaaaat? Seriously?

F*ck a duck..... so we could stretch to 15% of that......

No wonder those relegated clubs have such a huge advantage over the rest of us if they have the funds to pay those sort of wages in the championship......

Same on Field really but I'm hopeful - I keep saying this, which is alien for a QPR fan, but I trust the management! :emoticon-0100-smile

Ive seen enough of Field to know hes a very good footballer, even more so at this level. Hes a distant relative of mine (3rd cousin) or something like that. He is a presence, being a big lad and complements Johanson very well. If fit then i imagine that they would be the choice pairing. As for Gray, its all about options. Austin and Dykes both like to drop slightly deeper and neither are pacey to latch on to any through balls. Gray could play with either. Chair and Willock wont be able to play every game this season (although Barbet manages it). Its a very shrewd bit of business if you ask me. Any defender will tell you that pace is the hardest thing to mark.

Hopefully we'll beat them twice in his "cup final" games against us <laugh>

I would to think that we are playing hardball and failed his fitness test but told Watford we will take the risk by paying 5k of his reported 72k. :emoticon-0129-call:

I'm a little worried. A mate of mine has seen him sitting behind KPF Stadium in a taxi.

    You know what that means!

He could well do depending on form and fitness, he could play with either of them aswell. It gives us the options especially during a hectic fixture list.

I mean lets be honest here, if someone said at the beginning of the season that we could be selecting from Dykes, Austin or Gray as our forward line then im sure we would have taken that all day long. Also gives the opportunity for Kelman to maybe go out on loan for some regular game time.

True, just didn't see it as our priority if we were looking to get a loan signing in this late on

Attacking options - this is exactly why we needed Gray, We can now pick 3 from 5 rather than 3 from 4, plus he'll add the pace up top that we were lacking. An excellent loan signing.

I know that we've had history with him, but this is a pretty much heartfelt statement ...
