Am i getting too excited?

Did you record the game live, or is there a link/download somewhere? I was at the game and it'd be nice to see it from a different perspective.

 

Nah mate, this game was too exciting to record and i forgot the camera was in my hand at times.

I can't upload them to youtube as it gets taken down by the ****ing PL.

I'll be recording the Wigan game, and I'm taking my cam to the Blackburn cup game, and the two Manchester away games, and I will upload what i record if it's worth it.

I've been uploading them to Metacafe but the sons of bitches are starting to delete them off there now. I'll be uploading them to Vimeo from now on

 

Agree with this and i disagree how they came out and stated we want top ten and didnt like pardew last interview, getting too carried away, yes im excited but still dont wanna fall flat on our faces like the unwashed.

 

I think Pardew and the other staff make sure the players stay with their feet on the ground and just look at the next game. Can't see the likes of Colo taking his feet off the ground sorta thing

 

Colo is more likely to make sure the other guys keep their feet on the ground than lose his own feet. He's proving to be a really good captain and leading by example.

 

Yes you're getting too excited. The **** will hit the fan at some point, injuries, suspensions the fact we've got the worst fixture list for November ever!!! When it happens as long as we all stay behind the team and manager everything will be fine and once we are assured of safety we can really look at where we will finish i reckon 7th-10th with a good cup run would be a cracking season. We need to keep our feet on the ground.

That being said i'm enjoying every minute of this run

Are you getting too excited? Maybe. It depends what you are getting excited about.
A place in the top four? Then yes, probably.
If, however, you are getting excited about the football we are playing right now, then no.
Stop looking at the end result and start looking at what we are doing on the pitch every match. The team is flowing, gelling, and playing some **** hot football. At this rate I dont even care if we lose a few cos we are playing quality football, and in that case there is no shame in losing.
The spurs game? Pure entertainment start to finish.
My personal glass of Newky brown is half full at the moment... and we can hold our heads up against anyone, win lose or draw at this rate.

but on a serious note i do think we're playing some good stuff and still managing to look solid at the back whilst doing it.

Agreed. i said in the article that I'm also worried that things might go tits up at some point.

 

how we cope with injuries will be when we really show we have enough depth. at present i think we could live with injuries for short periods of time in mdfield but we'd be ****ed if colo or saylor was injured an perch had to come into the team. we'd defo miss tiote and cabaye but we could get by as long as it was only for a few matches. ditto with the strikers.
