3 games, 3 wins, 3 cleansheets. Didn't expect that after watching us last year! I think we still need to see more attacking spark from the forwards and some more creativity from midfield but we've looked a well balanced side so far.

We are turning into George Graham's Arsenal. 1-0 to the Spurs.

A lot for Nuno to work on during the international break
    (the traits of last season still there in many of the players) ;

Better to start that with 3 wins + clean sheets in the bag.

We are clearly lacking midfield creativity but all in all we look so much calmer and fitter than we did last season. The defenders aren't panicking, the midfielders aren't misplacing simple passes.

It is a very solid foundation to build on but Paratici has his work cut out to bring in a CM and back up ST in the next 48 hours.

I'm not sure who the commentator was but he flattered Watford , they were strong in defence and on the break but rarely troubled our defence in the box and Hugo only made a couple of stops , our 3 yellows were all on Sarr in the midfield, wonder if we took a lesson from Citeh , as for Hoddle......his usual negative self against us I used to worship him as a player but now I'd not piss in his ear if his brain was on fire

I remember Pochettino not being our number 1 managerial choice when he took over from Sherwood and to be honest, I wasn't really expecting much. Could Nuno end up being something similar?

I think we've got far too many players just trying to do a job in unfamiliar roles, but I can't argue with the results, so far.
Dier and Sanchez look like different players entirely and the overall fitness levels are through the roof.
We'd have definitely sat back and conceded in that game last season and we saw out the last ten minutes fairly comfortably.

Am I happy with the performances and team selections? Nope.
Am I happy with all of the individual players and the system? Definitely not.
Am I happy that we've won all three games and not conceded? 100%.

Very well. Still adjusting to the league and making the odd mistake, but he seems to grow into games.

Wins a win. Watford offered nothing and should have buried them at the end. Comfortable win in the end but 1 up is always nervy. 35 more 1-0 wins and we’re champions.

His main contribution is protecting the back four where he is much more disciplined than Hojbjerg and stronger than Winks. I think that, and the better cover from the full backs is why Dier and Sanchez suddenly look good.

    Just back.

Huge open goal misses from Dele and Kane.

Great touch at the end of the game with Rose and Sissoko doing laps of honour and the Spurs supporters singing their traditional chants.
A lovely send off for them.
