Sounds like red bull are trying to get Perez back in race. Interesting to hear arguments. Looks like mechanics are getting his car back ready in case they can race.

 

Does that lap they did not count as a lap of the race?

 

It's an interesting one, does he get to start in his original position, a lap down, from the back?

 

The thing is, I would love to see Perez start but as soon as I see Horner come out with his talking about the rules then I instinctively hope he won’t get his way. Like the driver, really have an issue with the team management.

Very good point. Perez has used 2 slow laps of fuel less. So he could use more in race.

 

Perez back in with extra fuel. Not that it will matter as 3hr race time started ticking down. So race finishes at 5pm UK time if it starts.

 

He would have to be a lap down, surely.


Also...people can stop complaining about the cold. Our AC went out last night, so we're waiting for somebody to come fix it... And it's hotter than hell. I'd gladly swap with them.

 

If it's delayed long enough, we might get in to the window where I can crack a brew.

 

Perez must be a lap down then, wonder if they'll break the news to Red Bull?

It isn't starting, it's rain rain rain for at least another 2 hours.
Going out to bag a few laps behind a safety car to make it count is great for Russel, but a cheap shot for the fans.

 

And in those days, the races were mostly just a mess...and that was in days where cars had much more mechanical grip and not quite as aero dependant. Get racing now and we'll be under perpetual safety car as we clean up the mess.

 

Summer break over... And this is what we get. Waaaaaaah!

 

Need to handle it like over here. Just postpone until tomorrow.
