Me lad just sent this on WhatsApp

He was going to drive up on his own today for the match 180 miles but got side tracked then split his hand open lol.

Me and him couldn't go over the last fee years due to shifts etc but need to look at getting a plan together to go to matches now.

That video sums up what enjoyment and comaradire is about.

There's the odd argument on here and negative bastards lol but we've all one goal and lets enjoy it.

Have a like @Mackem-Tiz for the comment on their thread. That Mowgli chap seems a proper bell end.

Absolutely clueless wasn't he. Never made any decisions of his own just read the room and gave it whichever way seemed the most popular.

That, fir me, should carry a longer than normal ban. He’ll know that o’nien has been suffering shoulder injury and it looks basically like he’s targeted it. A blatant punch in the shoulder. Probably won’t even get banned!!

As I’ve aged I’ve become unsentimental, a little synical and unemotional, but hearing the fans singing the Wise Men Say anthem always does something to me, inside, and brings a bit of a lump into my throat. Silly old sod that I am. Long may this remain our anthem.

Today there was a chance if we got the win we could go top. To me today was a statement of our intent win. Too many times in the past we have got ourselves in this position and it would have ended 1 - 1 or we would have lost and the opportunity gone. Now that we are top let’s just push on and leave all the other f*ckers in the rear view mirror. Exciting times. I think I’m still shocked we have our sh*t together as a club but that is a great feeling in itself. Onward and upwards:)

The start of this season has certainly quietened down those who doubted the direction the club was going in and those who wanted Johnson out...although one or two still were asking for his sacking after the Burton game and one even suggested we replace him with Neil Warnock FFS.....I guess every club has them eh!!

Wasn't surprised LJ swerved the post match interview and avoided getting into bother with the authorities over the many incidents and piss poor refereeing that plagues this league.
however Mc stepped up manually and did a grand job, pity we won't be able to defend our top spot next weekend but time to give the players a little break and then go again.
happy days being a lads fan.

    Extended highlights..

Patterson should have been onto that high looping ball a lot sooner on that early chance for them.

The celebration of the dad in the old white Vaux top with his kids down the front after the 3rd goal is tremendous. The smiles on their faces! <laugh>

All 3 goals were class, one great cross and header, a worldy into the far corner and a breakaway with an excellent finish into the roof of the net. Happy ****ing days.

Patterson looks a decent keeper but really needs to sort his kicking out. His distance kicking was l, for the most part, woeful yesterday but he “sees” the pass. Bit of experience and that will come I hope. He commanded his box better than burge normally IMO.
