Other than being a legend in my own mind did the following: Went to Sunderland, Newcastle and Crystal Palace on trial. Played in same team as Kenny Sansom against Chelsea youth team. Played against Supermac in a game at Newcastle between reserves, youth team which I believe was arranged for him as we was coming back from injury....he scored eight goals in a 9 - 1 win...I got the one for the other side. Played for Roker Boys in Mexico and Germany. Won Durham County cup at junior level with Roker Boys then won it at Senior level with Ryhope. Played also for Crook, Whitley Bay, Ferryhill, Murton and Evenwood. Took penalty at half time at Ayrsome Park when Boro played Bournemouth in FA Cup. Malcolm Allison was the manager then. Ran Newcastle half marathon 3 times and the LA marathon 4 times. Why I did them I can't give you a good explanation. Two ex wives,,,,four kids.....now just an old fart working on being a miserable, cynical old bastard with no hair, big stomach and fat ass.
