mine is from my favourite player from the period i most enjoyed going to BP . Obviously it wasn't the most eyecatching football , but it was a frigging good laff back then in worrying times both on and off the pitch !!
I loved it in kempton tried a few names on 606 and kemptonrocker came up i used it and have stuck with it. Its not a mod vs rockers thing im not old enough for all that!
I have a few nicknames but haven't opted to use them on here, A lot of people call me Deano, Others ( usually at work ) call me strangedean. I don't know why really because I know for a fact I aint strange
i chose the 24th letter of the alphabet soup in tribute to dean24 but now the ingrate wants me to change it.
sunwacdo is the word we used to remember Yorkshire rivers at school.Swale.Ure.Nidd.Wharfe.Aire .Calder.Don and Ouse.
i remembered sunwacd as the tributaries of the ouse. theres the trent and derwent and any other number of othres missing if thats all it recalls. the famous gypsy race for another.
I had a Budgie, which was the smaller version of the Tomahawk. It was metallic purple and had stablisers, basically it was a girls bike. Cheers Dad for that. I progressed to a Grifter which was a proper geezers bike.
First thing to point out is that I am in no way a cheese eating surrender monkey, the name comes from a line in the first American Pie movie, where it cuts back to a clip of ****break chatting up Stiffler's mum midway through a joke of which the punchline is, 'And I said, it's quite clearly a Pierre de la Franchesca' so me and some friends used this name for our 6-a-side team for a few years and when I joined up 606 the name was the first to spring to mind
mine is after the fan-zine bearing the same moniker. is it still in print btw? havent seen it for sale anywhere in a while
