I think MB learned from last year. You can't take these games for granted, it's the Cup Final for Crewe tonight.

 

Really happy for Forshaw. He gets all the **** for being injured but it must be tough not being in and around the squad and having to go through operations, rehab and everything. I bet he has had some very dark moments.

It must feel great getting a start in the first team after all this time out. Really happy he starts. Hoping he can recover the form he showed before his injury and he can get a run of games together.

 

Is Forshaw the reason we havent spent cash. I really hope so and we know Bielsa thought he was the best player at the club before he got injured. Bielsa has also said we couldnt afford to buy a player of Forshaws class today because Bielsa feels he is CL class and could get in any team on the form he had before injury. Big night for him

I was checking out how Luke Murphy got on after leaving us and Luke Varney's name popped up. He now plays for Quorn, the club he started with. Good luck to him, back to grass roots at 38.

 

Hope I’m wrong but I just can’t see him getting fit enough for playing regularly in premier league football after all this time injured.
