yeah, fair enough, it's not really a good measure of how he's doing losing to the european champions, gotta wait until he plays other teams, like those who've just been promoted. oh, wait a minute......
Brentford lost 2-0 Chelsea lost 2-0 There's certainly a pattern forming but it's nowt to do with being up against European champions mate. #WengerOut
That's literally an excuse! He's saying that they lost because they can't be expected to compete with such a team. He's not wrong, but that also applies to Brentford, apparently. I think they'll get something from City, though. Guardiola will help his old cone man out.
Let's just say that they make up excuses. Arteta didn't and said it as it is, which I find quite refreshing.
Tbf I get you After all those years with Jose…. And Tbf to klopp I have just seen one of the challenges that didn’t see yellow and Tbf it wouldn’t have looked out of place in wrestling Ftr I don’t agree with klopp on this but I imagine that one challenge was the one that got him incensed Tbf I just laughed
Klopp whines for Germany, a world class talent We lost a goal today after a player hit Bruno with his hip whilst hooking his leg around Bruno's to bring him down all without touching the ball. Last year a definite foul but it seems we are going back to a proper more physical game, i say bring it on. We have players that are good at that
As I said I just laughed - I did with Jose - I liked his mind games They were quite clever and simple For some reason I could never see the funny side with fergie He was just and moaning old twat and a bully to boot but he seems sound enough as a bloke so give him his dues And he was a bloody good manager (hurts so bad saying that)
Yeah good one. The one thing that annoys me is when commentators say " Oh there was contact". I should hope so because it is a contact sport.
I think it’s interesting now Ole has spoken out that the bbc are still calling klopp and not ole, i also think the bbc are making assumptions, i think the challenge on diogo jota is the one he is talking about where he was thrown around a player to the ground. As they said on motd last night i think VVD enjoyed the battle tbh. i agree the challenge on bruno was ott too Be interesting to see what happens next tbh ftr i prefer how it is at the moment
It's just typical of the PL. Fans are happy the games are flowing, VAR is being used sensibly. The refs just need to make sure challenges don't go too far and deal with that side of the game, it's a really easy part that they seem to want to **** up.
That game was a masterclass on spastication, with professor Arteta! He is going up against a superior team who have great fullbacks and a strong target man and he plays a back four Absolute knob! I know he had a lot of injuries, and a few players out with covid, but a back three was the only way they were ever going to get anything from that game. Everytime Lukaku dropped deep and pulled a CB onto him, Tierney had to fill in, and it gave James all the space in the world to operate on that wing, he was running **** from minute one. No wonder he got a goal and an assist. You can say we are a better side, with better players, and we are. And yes they do have injuries, but when you set the team up for failure, it doesnt matter the personnel. Everything about this was wrong. And Arteta said in the interview "We beat them last season with a back four", yes mate, under Frank Lampard, not Tuchel, a completely different beast.
Unreal this the French really losing the plot... https://www.theguardian.com/football/2021/aug/23/nice-marseille-chaos-fans-shame-ligue-1
