Ooh I’d love to see him score just to prove me wrong.
This match has come too early for arsenal. I think they may well be on the wrong end of swift kick up the backside.
We’ve really got the ground running and our team will only gel further as we go. 4-0 to the chels.

Rom battered them. Should have really gone on to get 3 or 4.

What a fantastic little cameo from Kante brilliant, James has an unbelievable first touch it doesn't matter how hard the pass is or where it arrives, feet chest head, he seem s to nail it every time. Lukaku is looking like what we have needed since DD retired, good games from Havertz, Kovacic and Jorginho, and Alonso looked sharper than I have ever seen him. Big shout out for Dave solid display Ruudi and Christiansen looked sharp too little bit disappointed with Mount had a few wasteful moments but I know the man is class and will put it behind him to come good next time up.

BT Tony and I were definitely watching the same game, I thought the same players were exactly as described. Havertz impressed me most though, he was looking classy all game and Mount struggled a tad, obviously not quite up to speed yet. Mendy also stopped everything he needed to. Ziyech also looked sharp the couple of minutes he was on, think he might have a huge season too. Poor old Audi has a tough job sorting his best 11 from this squad, only concern is who to play if Jorginho gets an injury.
Bring Gilmour back from loan ??

Was never in doubt, we were really good but it’s a little bit funny to see how bad they are too...

Lukaku will easily get 20+ in this team if he stays fit.

Lukaku was immense, looks like he is gonna do exactly what it says on the tin, which is what we need.
I also hope James can keep putting in performances like that too.
I know he wont get as much space against teams who have a properly drilled defence, but still, he looked amazing.

A generally good showing all round. Everyone wanting and doing their best to earn their place.
Liverpool next week will be a tougher test but I’m fairly confident we’ll be able to get something from them.

……3 points from the Red Scouse Gits (a kind of Alf Garnett comment) and the Premiership title really will be on.

…..I remember being at an evening game in the West Stand Lower with my wife and we lost 1-2 to Liverpool and we went on to win the Premiership under Antonio Conte. “Louis Suarez your teeth are offside”. Win or lose to the red Scouse Gits, I reckon we’re well on for the Premiership title.

I actually have you down as my pick for PL mate. Not sure if Ole can do it though he is assembling a fantastic squad, Pep seems to be floundering a bit at City regardless of the money (he needs a striker), Scousers i am unsure about, same team that won the league two seasons ago but nothing new.
    Spuds and Arsenal <laugh>
Leicester and Westham could be in the mix without injuries or at least stop other teams.

Got a feeling there will be plenty of surprises this season, though still see the usual suspects fighting out top 4.

With Lukaku as target man/ striker/ talisman we have the best chance of winning the title since Diego Costa was up front. West Ham would be a good outside bet for their first ever title. Man U have Ronaldo back and I’d say that he’ll be worth 10 points more to Man U than they got last season. The Spuds now have a very capable manager. It’s a genuine 7 horse race for the title and it’ll be close in my opinion.
