Interesting ....... "If it includes merged clubs, it includes merged clubs. We have to consider it. It is an unknown we're going into and we have to be brave. Because if we're not brave now and we're not intelligent now and we don't take self-interest off the table, I'm telling you the sport's going down the pan".

Wouldn't be good for RH (!) but might be good for us and for the city longer term? Maybe longer term we would see more people supporting their (one) local RL and football side.

-> "However, Pearson added that rugby league has only a 12-month window in which to act, otherwise its existence as a top-flight sport would be seriously threatened.

Is it really a 'top-flight sport' now? Or is that just in the minds of those in the M62 corridor?

-> Is it really a 'top-flight sport' now? Or is that just in the fantasies of a small minority in the M62 corridor?

    Corrected for you! :emoticon-0105-wink:

As someone who grew up with kids at school who supported Eff Cee and Rervers but had nothing but bad things to say about City because they all ‘supported’ Prem clubs, **** ‘em.

Yes, funny that. The West Stand Upper was closed and the lower bowl had loads of empty seats.
More than likely Wigan v St Helens on Friday night probably had a bigger crowd.

If Castro isn't banging on about Norwich, he's banging on about Rugby League.

I was replying to someone else who brought up the subject first.
Life must be pretty tedious in the southern hemisphere as you sit in your slip stalking people.

Having to listen to 'Mister Rugby League' Gollum Lloyd.
That's enough ammunition to demand a full licence fee rebate.

    Never heard of "Watched Threads"?
No doubt you scan your Watched Threads for mentions of Norwich and RL.
As I didn't quote you, why did you quote me anyway?
