It's very odd that Geads has been relatively poor by his high standards (subbed in every league game so far I think), however we are still playing well. Very nice to see us be a proper 'team' and have other players to step up. Gooch wasnt at his best as you say but others stepped up. I'm really enjoying the squad he is putting together.

    Two main points for me,
    1. Clean sheet
2.We didn't disappear second half as we're prone to do, so it's a win win for me and three big points against a team who were in good form.OaU.

I enjoyed that game. Yes, Geads had a stinker. Yes, Gucci off color. The great thing was that the whole team stepped up to cover for those eventualities. I liked it.
I hope LJ works on the mistakes of inexperience and finds out how to stick the ball in the net more than once a game.
Interestingly though, the young talent from SAFC Academy is at least equal with what has been bought

One of them that seems to be improving every game. Funny cos we didn’t see much from him at all last season, little flashes.

Looks like he’s feeding off the crowds which is a great sign for anyone coming here.

Can't argue with any of the issues highlighted around Geads and Gooch today but in Geads defense he is playing with a niggle and needs managing. He will come good though and I get thr feeling that when this team clicks they are going to give someone a good skudding!

Have to add though, my word Winchester was top notch today. Neil was fabulous too and Flanaghan to me is a different player this season

no way can Diamond or even Kimpioka go out on loan we were awful Geadsy could not put the ball in unless he beat a player 2 or 3 times first and that is a very big worry we need Clarke harris or Marquis i tell you and 2 creative midfielders, what has happened ? we should not be in any cups either this season our squad is not big enough, he brings the Everton player on and we play sidewards backwards football instead of ripping into the dons, under Parky we could win 5-0, 4-0 will we ever under Lee ? we are scraping wins and next week the physical Wycombe are here, good to be on 9 points though. Another thing Flanagan should have been subbed in the first half he nearly got sent off.

To be fair LJ said we would not see the best of him last season and he was a slow burner who would grow on us. He is deffo getting that way.

There were little hints, but he looks so consistent. Little bit like O’Nien who constantly looks like they are improving.

I know it’s early to say that, as Luke has done it for 2 full seasons, but very promising signs.

I think Huggins going into RB will give us another dimension, and with Evans injury may well see Winiesta/LON/Embo middle 3 next week with Neil a great option if we need to change it.

    Decent.

Feels like most of the discussion about the team in recent years has been about how best to polish a turd, totally different now. Now we've got too many good players for their position and it's a case of how do we fit them in.
