Yes, he's a bit of a twerp, and a self promoter, but he does have a point. England are unexciting. But then they underachieved, and been boring, for donkey's years, so any spark of excitement they might occasionally emit would be lost on me, because I've got some interesting paint that needs looking at.

Not a Warnock fan by any stretch of the imagination - he had another dig at Saints on MOTD2 wrt to Pardew's treatment MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS. Plus his jovial act rankles - You've only got to watch him on the touchline to see he's a seriously nasty piece of work

However, wrt to England, I'm fed up with these massively overpaid mercenaries aka Eriksson and Capello who havn't improved the national game in any shape or form. Looking forward to this time next year when a decent englishman will have come to the fore....and I don't mean ol' twitchy <laugh>

Why is it these managers once they are on a high do not know how to handle it. He has had a couple of good seasons no denying that. That however doesn't mean he is a good manager. Just remember a manager is only as good as the players around him. It would be interesting to see him manage some of these so called superstars! No Warnock for me has only the capability of managing a mediocre team of QPR's level......no disrespect to QPR intended.......it is just that they are still an unknown in the Premier. Lets see him manage one of the top teams lets see him handle some of the primadonnas of the game before he can brag "I Can manage England"!!

Can't stand the bloke, never have. His bragging about being able to do the England job etc is very irritating indeed and he has far too much arrogance for his own good. I also don't really think he has the qualifications or pedegree to manage at the highest levels, so therefore clearly, he has no idea how to manage a national side.

However, annoying as it maybe, he does have a point about England's style not being exciting and also needing a sense of humour in there - I have to say, I agree with those points even if I completely disagree with the rest of this buffoon's statements!

On one thing he is right, England used to be hard for foreign teams to play because we played the English way: fast and furious. A lot of foreign players are now familiar with the English game and we try and play more a European-style of football. We need someone to put the passion back into the game, but who? I have no idea.

A good manager turns his team into greater than its parts. England managers get given the best players in the land, but don't seem to improve them. Yes, we always qualify for tournaments but so we ****** well should! I think we are in a bit of the doldrums at the moment with good players nearing the end of their career. Bring on the youngsters and aim for the next World Cup. Let the u21s gel by letting them call on the best players, instead of withdrawing them for the senior side. The u21s should play together more, perhaps even win a tournament, and then seamlessly pass into being the senior side.

Can we create a poll for the biggest prick in football? Gus Poyet would get my vote.

Diouf? Barton? Redk*app? Savage? Johnny PFC Westwood? I dislike Poyet, but there are many people that I'd pick ahed of him.

On the plus side, Colin ****er would be considerably cheaper than Crapello.
