Hornets' pessimism aside, how do you rate Dyche's performance so far this season? Do you think he can do a job for you?

 

Let's just see where we are at the end of the month, he has not had the greatest of starts! The only way is up cause if it is down we are up sh1t creek without a paddle

 

Do you think he will get binned if you slide into the relegation zone? Who else is there for Watford to bring in?

 

As Malky jumped, we don't know how trigger-happy our new owner is. The big problem is that of we fire Dyche, there is the matter of compensation then whatever a new manager would require so not sure who there would be to bring in that could work within our budget constraints.

 

Yeah you seem to be up against it a bit, Dyche was, presumably, the cheap option as well

 

yep and at the time the sensible option we had hoped for continuity and stabilization , what we got was a mass influx of very average players keeping our promising kids out of the set up , Yes last season we played good football then fell away at the end which has been blamed on overuse of the kids !( I tend to disagree with that one)
We lost a good manager and 3 of our best players ! So this season was always going to be hard and our expectations were low!
What we did want to see was the continuing evolution of our promising kids and still to be playing decent football! What we have is a load of journeymen no better than the kids , a manager with suspect tactics and suspect ideas!

Watford fans seem very pessimistic, however as all long term foxes will know - we always lose to teams on a downward spiral! If a player hasn't scored for months, it's usually a shoe in that he'll get one against us!
