I think he's on big money, more than we'd pay.

A loan from another Champinship club might be the option there. Morgan Fox is available from Stoke, could be an option.

Panathinaikos are in for Akpom, Boro want €3-4m for him, so it's definitely not him.

According to Wiki, fount of all knowledge, he's a left back?

    Edit:

Ooops, sorry ST, I thought you were referring to the mystery centre forward <doh>

Plenty of English players have went to the SPL and left with their tail between their legs, Joey Barton springs to mind.

Akpom styled himself “AK47” when he went to PAOK the other year. The div.

Must go down well in Thessaloniki though, Aris have just signed Aboubakar Kamara from Fulham, who uses the same nickname.

Fatboy Lee Tomlin is available from Cardiff, as is Kyle Vassell. Both have pretty crappy goalscoring records for Cardiff but have scored in the past.

Rushian Hepburn-Murphy is also wanting to come home from Greece, currently playing for Pafos FC (where Will Mannion was). He's half decent.

Free transfer for Jerome Sinclair by the looks of it, doesn’t bring much in terms of goals, suppose he already has something in common with Eaves and Magennis so he’ll settle in fine.

When we had him loan he played like one of those who's doing you a favour - his attitude stank; I wouldn't touch him with a barge pole.

We don't need anything spectacular back there. Somebody similar to an Ant Gerrard when we were completely skint would do great. In the last week of the window, there will be someone who's not getting games and is desperate to play

It's definitely not him as Grant said he's with a club but wouldn't be surprised if he's on trial.

I thought we had to make room permanently for another permanent signing but that's not the case by the looks. Wonder if we've had exceptions from the EFL

Smallwood was a passenger on Wednesday we need to push Alfie into DM in his place and stick an Old Pro like Tommy Elphick alongside Greaves

When the opposition are sitting back, but he'd be too slow if they attacked like QPR did....
Jones would be better, more mobile to support other mids....

Arsenal have signed Martin Ødegaard from Real Madrid for £30m and Aaron Ramsdale has just completed his medical ahead of his move from Sheffield United, which could cost them another £30m.

That is a mental price for England's fourth choice keeper, and arguably isn't as good as their current number 1
