Can't quite get over this strange feeling of excitement building in me on match days, it's replaced the anxiety and tension felt on match days over the past few years. Long may it continue!
I think AOB could start tonight. We’re a work in progress and LJ has to look after everyone, bed in the new boys and rest anyone with an issue. We’re going to be a well oiled machine, chewing up and spitting out whoever we’re playing. But that might take a few games. Tonight, a win would be a huge statement.
I'd imagine in the next 2 hours we get the tweet telling us what squad number Alves and Broadhead are wearing. If we do they're likely in the squad tonight. Would be shocked if Alves wasn't. I reckon Alves is 5 and Broadhead 9
Or Broadhead may get number 7 meaning we are still looking for another forward. Wishful thinking on my part
don't want to sound like i have 'big club syndrome' but there some really nice little grounds around the league, nice, compact and keep the fans right on top of the action...some of the big stadiums you really feel as if you are not part of the crowd/game (our own premier concourse or the mags away fans section for example)
yeh I've never been to Burton but it looks a cracking little stadium. A lot of the modern "small" stadiums are really nice. Would love to go to the Brentford one for example.
yup, wallace and grommit usually cover the seasons games, only difference is when we 'clash' with the mags then we get moved...and i can never remember where to retune.
if i could guarantee parking right at the door i might manage some games but any walking or coach travel and i will not be able to handle it.
