The last time we won our opening 2 games we went onto win the league with 105 points and the time before that was when we went up from division two with the g-force
Get the **** in. Internet not good here so can’t read the rest of thread to assess the mood or know how it went, but on paper this is a huge 3 points. Many tipped MK Dons to do great this year, lost their manager but plenty of scope for new manager bounce. huge win. drawbacks seem to be Evans injury, especially seeing what we have heard. And the fact we have no right back meaning our other potential in that position having to cover him. Burge seems from Twitter to have done ok but was at fault for the goal. I expect this kind of mistake to increase the need for a new keeper - so whilst we would have preferred a more relaxing afternoon, it might be a blessing in disguise
Our players were blowing out their ar$es there towards the end. With another game on Tuesday coming up this is where our squad strength will be exposed. We definitely need more players bringing in this next week. If Stewart got injured we'll be screwed.
Take the points and move on. Not a great performance and at times we just could not pass the ball and invited pressure. Hopefully the injuries are not serious as we struggled when we lost Evans and Cirkin.
We were fine until they were gifted a goal. It gave Mk Dons a sudden surge of energy to push for the equiliser. Our players were totally fecked towards the end.
I think the newest lad (Alves?) is comfortable at RB but yeah hopefully Evans is ok. Also fingers crossed O'Nien isn't out for long he might have made it easier today.
Yeah I agree mate. That goal that was given to them gave them a huge lift. We were comfortable before then, they were deflated but that goal gave them a huge boost and turned the game round
