However just because the GC is getting away with posting all sorts of crap that it shouldn't, that doesn't mean we should put up with it or that Liverpool fans shouldn't take offence.
I don't want to fall out with any scousers at all, and I know this is a sensitive subject. But Cossy only mentioned something from his own experience that is hardly unbelievable. If someone said it about United fans in the past I wouldn't disbelieve it either. He could've been far more offensive to be fair. If LFC fans are so offended by these comments, I'd hate to see what they'd do if they heard some of the songs sung by some United fans over the weekend.
I give up. The issue here is not what his mates said or didn't say it's the fact that the OP eludes to this being a contributing factor to the disaster. IT WASN'T and has been proved so. What happened at Sheffield that day could have happened to ANY fans.
