Premier League reiterates support for players taking the knee.

The Premier League has produced a video to reiterate its support for players who take the knee ahead of matches.

The video, which features a voiceover from former Leeds United defender Rio Ferdinand, explains why players take the knee and asks fans to show their support. It will be promoted across Premier League and club digital channels.

Last week, Premier League players reaffirmed their commitment to taking the knee and said: “We feel now, more than ever, it is important for us to continue to take the knee as a symbol of our unity against all forms of racism. We remain resolutely committed to our singular objective of eradicating racial prejudice wherever it exists, to bring about a global society of inclusion, respect and equal opportunities for all.”

Players and match officials will wear a ‘No Room For Racism’ sleeve badge on their shirts for the 2021/22 season. This will act as a constant reminder of the commitment by the Premier League, its clubs, players and PGMOL to eradicate racism.

The Premier League worked with the PFA, LMA, Kick It Out and the FSA to produce the video.

And so it goes on and on and on. <grr>

<laugh> You're right, but I wish they'd consider the supporters feelings on the subject and supporters who don't want the submissive gesture which is the taking of the knee. <ok>

Instead of getting the poor skint ****s like Rio Ferdinand to tell us how hard it was for them to get away from the slave masters and the cotton fields of East london why don't they get a few of the tens of thousand young under age white girls who have been used abused and gang raped up and down the country to tell their story about how they were racially abused.
    **** the Premier League.

Have you heard about the Pillow Guy in the States?
He says he has evidence that the machines were hacked. I've seen him interviewed a couple of times and they just ridiculed him.
I'm bringing it up because Dominion are suing him for over a billion apparently.
    This made me wonder why?
Why bother suing him? I haven't seen his evidence so I guess either he doesn't have any or hasn't released it yet.
Why bother suing him? They're a huge company selling their technology to Governments. If they're certain that he has nothing then just ignore him.
What do they possibly gain by suing him?
For me it says that they're worried he might have something.

They say that they weren't or cant be connected to the internet, its been proved the can and were, by a Whistleblower, anyway the AZ audit are still awaiting the the routers which they wont release even though the Courts have ordered them to, i wonder why, they have already proved the date and time they were accessed by internet, when they told the independent adjudicator's they were shutting down then pulled boxes out, and put them through the machines loads of times

Biden most popular president of all time with 80% of the vote<laugh><laugh><laugh><laugh>

    Dont bring politics into football
you overpaid woketards have the life of riley, with your 3 hours per day intermittent max, then off to your mansion with pool driving in your Ferrari, To a beautiful woman who wouldn't look twice at you if it wasn't for the dosh. While the poor working man has to scrimp and save to watch a match, or risk prosecution from an iffy stream just to watch the team he loves, Then has it rubbed in his face by these ****s gesturing with the knee in support of a career criminal who just about killed himself, swallowing all his drug stash so he wouldn't be arrested, when the police were called for his fraud attempt at a shop.

Well **** right off you gesture and we will boo, no polotics in football ,the message needs to get through and to cheer every player refusing to be brow beaten by this ****

rant over i rest my case

Shame on the UK / US for abandoning Afghanistan!

They gave them hope, and rid them of the evils of the Taliban.

Allied troops have now left, knowing Afghanistan cannot defend themselves and in the past 2 weeks the Taliban have taken control of large parts of the Country.

Once terror cells are in mass production there, we will probably have no choice but to go back in causing loss of life to many of our troops whereas we
had a stranglehold on the situation

Arriving soon on a beach near you, for the new house, car, and money, Shia law and to take whats not nailed down, Most countries in Europe have had civil wars, and had to fight for what they want, should it not be time to fight for what they want. The middle east countries have always been at war with someone since the time of the Greeks and taking what they want by force,Whilst i can feel sorry for them the amount that's arriving in this country means im fresh out of fooks to give.

To be fair the Afghans are not willing to help themselves. 1,500 trained Afghan soldiers surrendered without firing a shot so the Taliban go unchallenged.

The West interferes too much, we throw the balance out which then allows the factions to gain momentum. The Americans struck a deal with the Taliban, pull out troops in return the Taliban ensure no terrorist activity towards us.

Did the Americans think for one minute this wouldn’t happen? How do the Taliban ensure no terrorist activity unless they have control of the country.

The West shouldn’t interfere in any other country unless they provide a direct threat. It’s very sad what’s going to happen to their people but you can’t keep troops stationed there forever.

We don’t seem to care how women are treated in Qatar, Saudi Arabia or UAE?

I do think it’s soul destroying for them but after being over there for 20 years, training their soldiers and helping them and then 1500 just surrender at the sniff of trouble what is the answer going forward?

No shame for the UK/US as far as I'm concerned. At least they were there for 20 years, training the Afghan army, supplying them with weapons, at least trying to bring some sort of order to the ****hole.

We didn't 'abandon' them. The Afghan army were fully prepared with modern weapons and far outnumbered a flip flop wearing enemy who use 40 year old weapons left behind by the Russians.

And where were the Western 'allies'? Why should the burden fall solely on the UK to support the US?

Like Roger says these savages will be arriving on our beaches under the guise of 'fleeing persecution' when a high percentage will have the sole intention of killing innocent people. And we'll just escort them in and welcome them with open arms.

    That's the real tragedy.

Since when did we start to strike deals with terror organisations?

That's like issuing sanctions against Adolf Hitler!

Perhaps they should have just given Osama Bin Laden a good talking to!

You really think these crazy extremists who despise the West are going to create a peaceful environment in Afghanistan?

No, there will be hundreds of terror cells, all preaching death to the West!
