Never agreed with HIAG or Aber that the virus was a fraud but I do believe that ALL governments have used the pandemic to tighten their control over their populations

I agree with this. I've had my jabs, I've worn my masks, done everything that's been asked, without complaint. But do I trust the governments, not one bit. They've even managed to turn air travel into a privilage for the rich. I've also got a big bee in my bonnet over this cashless approach, where football clubs like mine are even forcing it on you now.

 

Went into a Barclays branch today to pay a bill

I was asked why I didn't use an app to pay it

My reply was because I like to come in and see you and keep you in a job

He just looked bemused, it is as if they do not want to actually work for a living but can't see that very soon they will not have a job

 

I think they are forced to ask those questions mate, probably comes as part of their performance review. It will probably come under some banner of helping customers, or aiding customers to become digital friendly.

I still make my bank send me bank statements, just to be awkward. I shred them as soon has they arrive. #StubbornFooker

I've no problem with that on face value, but when MP's are jetting themselves off all around the world for climate change, they can do one. Much like forcing people back into the City, in their cars and on the trains. It's either everybody on board or no one onboard.

Much like the charge increase on carrier bags, yet supermarkets still fill their shelves with plastic wrapped fruit and veg.

It seems aimed at the consumer but never those actually in charge of or causing the real problems.

That my kind of holiday, a change of clothes, barclaycard to buy what you need and then leave behind for the maids

Trouble is my wife uses up two luggage cases no matter where we go
