I think this is almost right, but I fear that Ralph’s bromance with Redmond will see him start over Adam Armstrong

 

Either way a 3-0 for us will settle us all down! And there's no reason why that should not be the case if they all play as a team. You heard it here first!!

 

Ah yes, Theo! His first game for us vs Everton since his return. Is that right? Would be nice for him to score regardless

 

I predict an even contest, a game of two halves, plenty of goalmouth action and [Insert cliche here]

 

I think we'll win this or maybe lose or maybe draw. I'm pretty certain of this.

I read Lawro's in-depth analysis, and it consists of identifying Adam Armstrong, who might score if he gets the ball. I appreciate that there are nine other Premier League fixtures this weekend, so Lawro has to spread his insightful awareness over several matches, but I get the feeling that Lawro simply picks up one of the tabloid papers, sees what's different about clubs, then writes something trite. Or am I giving him too much credit?

 

Indeed. Since when does a new signing walk straight into the first team and start?

Armstrong might come on for a cameo but Adams is our most likely goal scorer.

 

Also worth remembering that Adams signed having just scored 20+ for an average Championship team and he scored something like 5 first season.

Might take Armstrong a while to adjust and if he hits double figures he will have done very well

True but that was Adams only season of note prior to us signing him. Armstrong has now scored 15+ in back to back seasons in the championship as well as a fantastic season with Cov in league 1. Armstrong is also a well established international goal scorer in all youth age groups whereas Adams only had 2 caps.

Of course he could well need time to adjust but I think Armstrong is of a higher pedigree than Adams.

 

Apparently both Richarlison and Calvert-Lewin fit and available to play.

Oh.

 

Calvert-Lewin is vastly over-rated. Won't get double figures this season.
