Been out for a work meeting today and the fella I met turned out to be a Spurs season ticket holder. Without me prompting he said we have just signed a top player from them. Says he watches u23s when he can and was standout for them and thought they might sell a lb this summer and promote him. Says he is a typical modern day lb, up and down the pitch and good defending 1 on 1.
LJ to decide whether Cirkin plays this weekend https://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/spo...9gL1fDaCkIyod6h7M1xcf-x5Vp373EZzFkEFtQ7y-ass4
Think he has a point to ease him in. He's not settled yet and if he makes one or two costly mistakes he'll be judged on that. That said I'd like to see him play and would forgive any mistakes
I got talking to one of the assistants ( man unt fan ) in Booths supermarket and he was telling me we had just got a young centre half off them, he was saying how brilliant he was and I thought hell I’ve got some news that nobody on here has heard yet. I got talking to him and mentioned the match, he then said oh you’re a Sunderland supporter I thought you supported Hull. The dozy twat.
Agreed, if he's got the quality that everyone says he has he'll be fine. Doyle went straight in didn't he? I can see what Johnson is saying but on the flip side continuing to play Neil at LB is a pretty big risk too, yeah he's done well and is a good player but I suspect there's only so long he can do it for before it's exploited and mistakes happen. O'Nien was rock solid at CB at first but there was a shelf life to that.
My God what is there to decide? We got terrorised down the left on Saturday, need him straight in. No time to mess around.
Took months to play Sanderson. Me and @Makemstine Roger were calling for it for a while. Could see the potential a mile off.
No it didn't, it was exactly a week. Johnson was announced, as manager, on the 5th of December. Sanderson was on the bench for Johnson's first proper league match in charge, at Lincoln, on the 12th of December. He made his debut in the second half. He started in the first team, at home to Wimbledon, on the 15th of December. Unless months on your planet are only 10 days long what you've claimed is absolute nonsense.
