Plus Calvert-Lewin was out of their last friendly with a foot injury. Hopefully one that keeps him out another week or so.
Adam Armstrong won’t start this one. As others have said it will be good to get Everton away over and done with.
I've had a look. If Danny hadn't scored a single goal last season we'd have ended up on 30 points instead of 43 and would have avoided relegation by two points. All other things being equal, I'll agree - if we have replaced him with someone who's going to score zero goals we're going to be close to relegation. Vin

I think Everton are there for the taking. Rafa will be under huge pressure from the Everton diehards, and things can get pretty toxic at Goodison if they don’t score after 20-30 minutes. If Vesty plays he will want to put in a good performance knowing Leicester, West Ham and Spurs will be watching him. Putting away chances on Saturday is going to be the problem for us until Arma is ready. Hopefully Armando Broja will solve the problem and from what I have seen of Valentino Livramento he looks good for an assist. I think we can nick this 1-0.
Vestergaard won't play whether he's been sold or not. He's obviously on the way out therefore no point in playing him ahead of Bedders or Salisu.
Think we could get something too. Or maybe it’s just the new season hope, and it’ll be as you were come 5pm!
Just noticed that my IPTV subscription ended today, so I am waiting for them to email me with details to renew it. Glad I checked today and didn’t leave it until Saturday.
God's, l feel positive about Saturday. I have had this name on this website since 2011 but since 2013 been overseas in Middle East. Back last week after what was is 2 year plan (for that slightly wrong!) so looking forward to going to St Marys, not sure what will happen, but cannot change 50+ years of supporting this wonderful club.
With any luck he'll be jet lagged (or forced to isolate), so he'll be keeping well away from all the other Everton players, as well as being confused by the (to him) 8:00 am kick off
