I think your being negative there To put a positive spin on it, I'm always happy to see ex players concerned about how we are performing. It shows that Sunderland got under their skin
TBH mate, he's exactly the same with West Brom. Don't get me wrong, I admire what he did for the club, and have great memories, but his comments aren't even accurate most of the time. I sigh when we're on live and he's in the studio, looks so glum when he talks about us.
Marco hardly watches any of our games and then tries to comment on the on tertle spert. It's weird that he is actually the SAFC pundit on their tbh. Brady, Danny Collins and Martin Smith are all better.
But which full backs would you have signed. Come on, we are all bored to death waiting for you to answer.
Good post, I love Mcgeady, but would probably tell him not to come back and defend. He is awesome in attack and wins games for us, so we need him. That is one of the reasons we need a good LB and pacy midfielders to cover.
People take far much notice of what SKP has to say. I really don't understand why as many let it get under their skin.
Methinks the current management set up see Hume as McGeadys replacement. As stated he is better going forward with his pace rather than defending and surely this is geads last season.
It's ex players who slate the club but were happy to take a wage whilst being shìt that pìss me off. I might not agree with all Phillips or Marco says but at least they care about the club to one degree or another.
It's been gut-wrenching for years. There's a very, very basic philosophy in Sunderland IMO - we all work hard, all week, for many thousands less. If you can't try your hardest, for an hour & a half, once or twice a week, get out. I know fun-runners who exert more effort for personal pride on a Saturday than Grigg or Graham have done in years.
Which is fine as long as they are up to date with club info But to come out and tell the owner how to run the club and the manager his job with him having no experience of either boils me a bit. Only answer a question if you have answers not relying on heresay
SKP can say whatever he wants, because he's a legend, he only wants what's best for SAFC, and he lives in the UK so it's just a basic right, he can do whatever the **** he wants. He's not somehow beholden to you because he signed your shirt when you were ten, grow up.
Same applies to me and everyone else. We're entitled to an opinion about anyone we choose ... ... Adam Johnson was a hero at one time but things can change no matter who you are. And no, I'm not saying Phillips is a sex offender.
suppose that’s where hume resigning could be a bigger benefit in his flexibility to be used further up the pitch if needed. I agree with you
