It isn't really worth getting upset about but the misinformation is worth getting upset about. There are several newspaper articles reporting on this news story and, although some have slightly sensationalist headlines, all make it clear that this relates simply to the way that different items of clothing are referred to. In no way does this relate to boys having to wear skirts and the photos in the OP are completely unrelated to the story. I am of the opinion that some balance is needed in terms of 'politically correctness' but this kind of misinformation is detrimental, only causing division between people, and not improving anything.
