They have 27 now in their first team squad. I would say that is a lot to contend with from a coaches perspective. It is going to be hard keeping everyone on the same page in my opinion.
IF being the key word there. Nobody will worry about SAFC with our current squad. Just over 3 weeks to sort some full backs and decent cover out.
We've zero full backs which if you've read my posts is what I've been posting about!
It proves you don't need to wait for good players every time though. We don't know the strategy but they're going to have to alter something or risk not having a squad to achieve the seasons goal of promotion
Let’s be honest, players who will be competing with numerous others for their position, either have absolute faith in their own ability to play every week or are willing to sit on their arse for best part of it. They are footballers, it will be the latter. Ok if you have a couple competing but Ipswich will have something like 8 forwards. I thought consistency in selection was the way forward. I’ve been reading your posts all day bonny lad….. some of which I’ve agreement with… some of which I don’t.
If we haven’t signed quality by the end of the month then fair enough but I’d much rather us take our time and not panic like we normally do.

You said quality players have moved, but we haven’t got them…. then you named two we have. So your posts are not all about full backs…. most of your comments are bitching about lack of signings across the squad.

Said earlier in this thread. Just as a oner. As you're right, trying to keep away from it. That said, most of it has been achieved by not being on the RTG site. Significant improvement across the board.
I wouldnt be on here now but the Mrs and lad are a kip already and I am having a couple of beers. Down Liverpool at the moment.

Ha. Nah. All good here mate. I know it sounds silly but I haven't even attempted to ask anyone got anything. Just got the odd bit before, which I posted. Massively enjoying the lack of spotlight to be honest.
That said, I'll try to answer any questions from my point of view specifically, if anyone has them that is.
