Is this what you’d like or expect?

Not a chance of Bielsa dropping Cooper and Dallas and no record signing Rodrigo?

Isn’t that just a much shorter version of the europa league?

So under Jammy's proposal who would have qualified for a chance of CL football from last season domestic Cups (Europe's top 4 Leages with Final League position in brackets)

Leicester City... FA Cup Winners (5th)
Real Sociadad... Copa Del Rey Winners (5th)
Napoli... Coppa Italia Semi Finalists (5th)
Montpellier... Coupe de France Semi Finalists (8th)

What a great little pre season tournament those 4 clubs could have had with a CL spot available to the winners. The real bonus though would be encouraging all clubs to take domestic cups 100% seriously again.

Seems whenever anyone comes up with a viable suggestion for improving the FA Cup it just gets poo pooed from the get go.

Let's just let the FA Cup wither and die instead...much easier solution and doesn't require any effort whatsoever.

I just don’t think winning 6 or 7 games, a few of which could be against Lowe league teams warrants a place in the CL.

Presumably that means you're happy with the FA Cup as it is then ?

If so fine...it's all about opinions.

I’d be over the moon if we won the FA Cup, still means the same to me. It’s usually won by a top four side (or Arsenal) so I don’t think it’s been diminished as much as people think.

Looking forward to this season, Bielsa Ball is so fkn addictive

Raphinha's big strength is getting space out wide and then driving inside, scaring the bejesus out of centre backs ... he definitely ca play in the 10 role, but he's such an effective out ball to set up fast counters I'm not sure Bielsa will sacrifice that, unless another top winger comes in

FA Cup has lost its sparkle a long time ago, started when Scum decided a World Club tournament in Rio was more important than playing the 3rd Round ... how the fk that evil empire didn't get a ten season ban from the Cup is still a mystery ... I agree that there should be a big reward for winning the thing, and Chumps Lge is the way to go ... make it top 3 in Prem and FA Cup winners go into Chumps Lge, 4th and 5th get Europa Lge along with Lge Cup winners ... that would certainly focus the minds of the Super Six

transfers are always a talking point with Bielsa, because he's such a stickler with his list ... if he can't land a target, he's happy to sign nobody and that drives the twatterati insane ... we've got some talented players in U23s, and we know Bielsa will play them if he feels they can cope, with Struijk being a good example ... I hope we get at least two more in (CM and Winger) which will mean Costa probably gets sold

Any chance you could tell me when we last put out a full strength side in an FA Cup tie ?

I'm guessing around 10 years ago when we beat the scum. Unfortunately managers/coaches now use both Cups to get some fitness into fringe players whilst giving the first team a rest. It's become frustrating and annoying to most fans who love the thought of actually bloody winning something or at least frigging trying to.

I think Dallas edges out Klich and you have your wingers the wrong way round - Summerville is right footed and Harrison is left footed, otherwise it's not a bad line up from the available players.

For me, the FA Cup lost it's sparkle when semi-finals started being played at Wembley, plus when the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff was used while Wembley was rebuilt.

Tenner on at William Hill. Might be a little bit optimistic but He Who Dares Wins Rodney.

A very valid point but for me getting back to the premier league was more important.

9 Subs this season. fair to say if your a senior lad and you don't get on the bench you might aswell look for a new club.

I don’t think there’s any chance of Summerville starting against scum.

I really think hes now ahead of Poveda and I fear for Poveda right now. I could be wrong and Poveda is on the bench on Saturday, but I get the feeling he will be sold or loaned out unless hes showing something else in training?

Definitely needs to be loaned, preferably to a football playing top end Championship team

Summerville should have been used last season. Him and Gelhardt deserved a chance toward the end. Both were stand out players in the 23's.
